Since 2002, Greg's Weather Center has been collecting weather data for South Plainfield and Northwestern Middlesex County. Originally, GWC had a Davis Weather Monitor II, which has its data archived in another section of the web site.

Now, the site uses a Davis Vantage Pro 2, and provides data not only to the site, but also for Weather Underground and CWOP. The Vantage Pro 2 station has been in operation since 2011.
